What You May See
On HDR-capable browsers and displays, highlights in the image may appear noticeably brighter than standard webpage white, while details in the shadows remain preserved. In an SDR environment, the same file should fall back to a normal standard-dynamic-range image. The first version will not include a global HDR/SDR toggle. The website will primarily rely on the gain map file to adapt to the display environment, with a manual switch added only if testing shows it to be necessary.
